When you write, tell us which Google account you use with webfaCe Inbox and, if something went wrong, roughly when and what the panel said. Please don't forward us a customer's email unless we ask for it.
Common questions
What do I need to use webfaCe Inbox?
A webfaCe account with webfaCeMEdia and a Google account enabled for it, plus Gmail on the web or the Gmail app for iPhone or Android. webfaCe Inbox is included with webfaCe plans. Not on a plan yet? Email us.
Where do I find the panel?
On Gmail on the web, open an email and click the webfaCe Inbox icon in the panel on the right. In the Gmail app, open an email and scroll to the bottom of the message, where add-ons appear. Install once on the web and it shows in the app with the same Google account.
The panel says it has nothing to look up. Why?
webfaCe Inbox skips emails from automated senders (like no-reply addresses and newsletters) and from your business's domain. For everyone else it shows what your webfaCe systems hold. If the sender isn't in your CRM yet, use Add to CRM.
The panel says my account isn't enabled.
Each Google account has to be enabled for a webfaCe business before the panel shows business information. Email support@webfacemedia.com from the account owner and tell us which Google account to add.
Does webfaCe Inbox send email for me?
No. It creates a draft in the thread only when you tap Write a reply or Send booking link. You review the draft and press Send yourself, or delete it.
Where does the draft go?
Into the same conversation, as a reply to the sender, and into your Drafts. Tap Open draft in the panel to jump to it.
Why does my draft contain [fill in]?
We write replies only from what's in the email and your CRM notes. When a reply needs a fact we don't have, like a price, a date or a yes/no that's yours to decide, we leave a [fill in] placeholder instead of guessing. Replace it before you send.
Writing a reply is taking a while.
A reply usually takes a few seconds. If the panel says it's still writing, wait a moment and tap Open draft. If it says something went wrong, tap Write a reply again.
What can webfaCe Inbox see in my mailbox?
Only the email you have open, while you use the add-on: the sender, subject and date, and the message text when you ask for a reply. It can't browse, search or list your other emails. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Is my email stored or used to train models?
We don't store your emails. When you ask for a reply, the text used to write it is held for up to seven days so you can reopen the draft, then deleted. Your email content is not used to train models. See the Privacy Policy for who processes it.
